Tulsa musician Steve Pryor killed in motorcycle crash

A Tulsa musician is dead after he crashed his motorcycle into another car Friday night.

The crash happened around 5:30 Friday evening near Seminole and North Denver.

Police said that Steve Pryor crashed into the back of a car that turned east onto Seminole Street.

Officers said the Pryor was alert and talking when they arrived.

He was taken to the hospital where he later died of internal injuries.

Pryor was a musician well-known in the Tulsa area.

During his career, Pryor shared the stage with many performers including B.B. King, Bonnie Raitt, Greg Allman and more.

Many in Tulsa remembered Pryor after his death.

The Colony in midtown Tulsa put up a sign to in Pryor’s memory.

Others took to Twitter to remember Pryor.
